Hi, I'm Jorja.
Your whole life has led you to this moment where you've found my page.
Or, I don't know, maybe I sent you a link.
I'm an award-winning comedy writer, content creator and mental health advocate. I've been a storyteller for as long as I can remember, and I can remember very far back. Making people laugh and expressing the complexities of life through humor are my reasons for existing. In my writing I use humor to explore topics such as mental health, the economic and social issues that have made being a millennial *so* chill, and other lighthearted themes. I'm originally from London, England, am now based in Los Angeles, CA (sunnier) and am fueled by vegan donuts.
Myrtle & Willoughby is a seven episode comedy mini-series about two Bushwick cops working in Brooklyn's 'Millennial Crimes Unit'.
Winner of the Just For Laughs Pitch Competition in 2018. Official Selection at ITVFest, Austin Film Festival, HollyShorts, Stareable, Orlando Film Fest, Hollywood Comedy Shorts, and more.
